In December 2007 I bought an 80-foot motor yacht, currently moored in Seattle. She was built in 1930 of Douglas fir and is currently named the CREOLE. Any improvements on that name (which is not the 1930 one) will be gratefully received. Gomboat has been rejected. The Thomas Tallis bears scrutiny. The Osbert Parsley perhaps not. She sleeps ten at a pinch and currently makes her living undertaking very expensive charters up to Alaska. I intend to sail her across the Atlantic in 2012: my small contribution to the London Olympics. There will be a professional captain on board.
